I have known Treasurex since March 2007, during part of which, he worked for me as the General Manager, Human Resources for our business in Sri Lanka. When I recruited Treasurex, I was looking for a business orientated HR professional who would combine well-developed HR knowledge with business know-how. I needed a practical, solutions-based HR practitioner who would drive change and show leadership in a demanding and growing business environment. Treasurex demonstrated all of these attributes in his work and, with his client-centred approach, coached and mentored the senior players in the business through a number of challenging times. His calm, pragmatic approach serves him well, as he is respected for his work in HR. On a personal level, Treasurex and I have remained good friends and whenever I am in Sri Lanka, I make the time to meet up to share HR business practices. I have had the privilege of working with him on a number of projects and I have guest-lectured for him on a taught-masters programme that he leads with the University of Ballarat. Without doubt, I would recommend Treasurex as a true business partner who brings a wealth of HR generalist knowledge combined with excellent business acumen, process management and solutions orientation.

With our global initiatives in people development, it was a nightmare for my local Training and Development team to tie up with suitable training parters. This was mainly due to the strict selection guidelines of our Hong Kong parent company. During our search Treasurex presented to us the services of his consulting company in October 2010. We along with our Hong Kong based Global HR Director felt that we found what we were looking for in Treasurex and his businesss model. This was the beginning of a sustained partnership within the scope of delivering learning and development initiatives for our management staff.

Noteworthy is that Treasurex was very cooperative in customising the learning interventions to suit our specific requirements. He never forced on us any of the pre-developed training programs intended for other companies. Whatever training programs that Treasurex delivered for us was exclusively developed and tailored to suit our needs. I have found his research and the materials presented in his workshops to be of very high standard. Thus he is able to present the core objectives of the training in a very attractive manner.

Our pre-training evaluations and feedback mechanisms has been an enjoyable and constructive process that was instrumental to enhancing the quality of our ongoing programs. Treasurex has always been very cooperative and a pleasure to work with.

In particular, we consider the “Coaching for performance” and “Your development”  workshops have had a significant return on our investment during the early days of our partnership.

In recent times he has conducted a series of workshops on “Innovation in Business”. The different types of leaning methods he uses, particularly the creative case studies has had a magnificent impact and given deep insights to the participants. The feedback from participants has been very positive and we were urged to pursue similar programs in collaboration with T K Consulting Consortium. The quality of the content and the delivery had been one of their core competencies.

Whilst appreciating the genuine interventions delivered thus far, we believe T K Consortium will join hands with us in our ambition to move forward as a learning organization.

In August 2012 I contracted the consulting service of Treasurex to improve our business processes and provide business mentoring to my senior team. Treasurex has been a source of great learning and a pleasure to work with. Performance appraisal are not solely based on black and white facts and or numbers and therefore leave much room for unfair appraisals.   With that in mind we were looking for an external party being able not only to point us in the right direction but also provide theoretical and practical educational session.

Mr Treasurex Melchior of T K Consulting Consortium Ltd held a one day seminar in our plant for all our Heads of Departments. The session was professional, informative and as a consequence we were able to reach the breakthrough we were looking for.
